Turo Car Rental Launches at Duluth International Airport
October 1, 2024 - Duluth, MN: The Duluth Airport Authority (DAA) is pleased to announce that Turo, the world’s largest car sharing marketplace, is coming to Duluth. Beginning on October 1, 2024, area residents and visitors will be able to rent from a selection of nearby vehicles shared by local vehicle owners. “We’re excited to be launching at Duluth International Airport and expanding our presence in the Land of 10,000 Lakes,” said Aaron Barraza, Turo’s Senior Airport Partnerships Manager. “Having access to car sharing at DLH is a win-win for travelers and local residents, and a big leap toward Turo’s vision of enabling guests anywhere to find the perfect vehicle for their next adventure.”
This partnership reflects the DAA’s commitment to providing additional car rental options. “We are excited to welcome Turo to the Duluth area and are excited to add their services to our car rental offerings at DLH” said Tom Werner, Duluth Airport Authority Executive Director. “We hope this will add much needed ground transportation options, across the entire flight schedule for visitors and residents alike.”
