FREE DTA Holiday Service and Shuttles to the DECC on Thanksgiving

DULUTH, MINNESOTA (November 21, 2017) – The Duluth Transit Authority (DTA) is once again partnering with the College of St. Scholastica to offer passengers FREE bus rides on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 23, 2017.  This FREE service is sponsored by the National Bank of Commerce.

The DTA has provided FREE holiday service throughout the day on Thanksgiving for 28 consecutive years.  The Holiday Service Schedule for each regular route can be found in the shaded area of the “Sunday” section within the DTA’s passenger hand schedules.  More details can also be found online at www.duluthtransit.com.

The DTA’s Thanksgiving Holiday Service also features two special shuttle buses; “Turkey Bus 1” and “Turkey Bus 2”, that will transport passengers directly to the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center (DECC) from selected sites throughout the Twin Ports. Look for “Turkey Bus 1” and “Turkey Bus 2” in the destination signs to distinguish this special shuttle service from regular-route buses.

The special shuttles will operate between the DECC and the Duluth Transportation Center (DTC) and other Duluth sites including the Domiano Center and CHUM.  In Superior, the special shuttle service will operate from the Royalton Manor, 14^th and Tower Ave, Clifford Lund, and Solid Rock Mission.
