CASDA Names Porter Arch as Next Executive Director

SUPERIOR, WI — The Board of Directors of the Center Against Sexual and Domestic Abuse, Inc. (CASDA) is pleased to announce that Porter Arch has been selected as the organization’s next Executive Director.

Arch brings more than a decade of experience in survivor advocacy, domestic and sexual violence response, housing stability, homelessness response, violence prevention, and community-based systems leadership. Their appointment follows a thoughtful Executive Director search process led by the CASDA Transition Committee, Board of Directors and a Specialized Search Consultant.

Quote for Chris Stenberg, Board Chair
“Porter brings a deeply mission-aligned combination of direct service experience, systems thinking, partnership-building, and passion for the critical services CASDA provides” said Chris Stenberg, Board Chair of CASDA. “Throughout the search process, the committee remained focused on identifying a leader who could support staff, strengthen community relationships, advance survivor-centered services, and help guide CASDA into its next chapter. We are excited to welcome Porter into this role.”

Porter’s experience spans direct advocacy, program management, grant-funded initiatives, housing navigation, and coordinated community response. Their background includes work with survivors of domestic and sexual violence, individuals experiencing homelessness, and community partners working across law enforcement, healthcare, schools, housing, and nonprofit systems.

Most recently, Porter has worked in survivor advocacy and housing navigation in Minnesota and Oregon, including roles supporting survivors through safety planning, legal and medical advocacy, housing stabilization, and coordinated service response. They have also led and contributed to major grant-funded initiatives, including a $250,000 sexual violence prevention program and a $1.2 million housing effort serving individuals experiencing long-term homelessness.

    Quote for Porter Arch:
“I am honored to be joining an organization with a long history of supporting individuals and families throughout our community. The impact of this work has touched countless lives, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of CASDA’s next chapter.  As we move forward together, my focus will be on listening to survivors, building community relationships, supporting our advocates, and working collaboratively to strengthen the organization’s capacity to meet both current and emerging community needs.  Through partnership and a shared commitment to the mission, we can create a sustainable path forward and continue extending the impact of life-saving domestic and sexual violence services.”

CASDA provides critical support for individuals and families impacted by domestic and sexual violence, while also working with community partners to strengthen prevention, safety, advocacy, and access to survivor-centered services.
