Captain - Sadie Ann Education and Research Vessel

The Lake Superior Research Institute (LSRI) at UW–Superior is seeking a qualified Research Vessel Captain to support the launch and operation of the Sadie Ann, the university’s new education and research vessel. LSRI has served the region for more than 55 years through environmental research and educational programming. The successful candidate will have a strong sailing record and demonstrated ability to collaborate with leadership in developing a safe, efficient, and sustainable vessel program. This position oversees vessel operations, crew supervision, regulatory compliance, maintenance planning, and the development of operational and safety documentation.
