Assists in the protection of the population, land, and waterways of Douglas County through the enforcement of the Douglas County Planning and Zoning Ordinances and Comprehensive Plan. Upholds licensed credential holders to state mandated requirements as it relates to Private Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems (POWTS). Protects property assets and health of residents by upholding POWTS standards throughout the County. Inspect sites and resolve complaints.
