    RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead and elevate SWLP's compliance function, ensuring the company meets and exceeds all Federal, State, and Local regulatory requirements, while strengthening internal standards and best practices. Develop, enhance, and potentially oversee a company-wide, cross functional compliance program that aligns teams, processes, and technologies toward a unified compliance strategy. Apply strong technical expertise in electric, gas, and water utility operations to guide decision making, support operational integrity, and ensure regulatory alignment across all utility services. Monitor emerging industry trends, regulatory changes, and operational risks, proactively driving updates and improvements to SWLP’s compliance strategy. Leverage and optimize existing technology platforms to streamline documentation, tracking, audits, and reporting—making compliance more efficient and transparent. Use deep subject matter expertise and growing operational knowledge to improve processes, elevate program maturity, and support continuous improvement across the organization. Solve complex compliance and operational challenges by applying creative thinking and proven industry solutions. Foster a strong culture of compliance by building effective relationships, communicating clearly across departments, and motivating teams to prioritize safe, responsible, and compliant operations.

    EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business administration, analytics, communication, science, engineering, or a related field. OR Associate degree required AND two years of related experience in addition to the experience requirement.

    EXPERIENCE: Four or more years of related professional experience in analytics, technical writing, organizational management, and/or project management required. Regulatory compliance-related experience strongly preferred. Gas, water, or electric utilities, construction, or industrial experience preferred.

    SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Excellent technical writing, project management, presentation, and procedure development skills required. Strong proficiency with applied use of spreadsheets, database applications, document management software, and compliance management software is required. This position may be subject to assessment of skills, job match and/or aptitude.

    COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: The expected annual compensation range for this position is $65,000 - $82,000. Compensation offered to the selected candidate will vary depending on relevant knowledge, skills, training, experience, and market conditions.
