The UW-Superior Symphonic Band will feature Sharra Wagner, native of Eveleth, Minn., and Zoe Scherer, a winner of the 2015 Symphonic Band Concerto competition, along with great works for band and chamber ensemble.
The Symphonic Band will also perform pieces that will be included in the 2015 International Tour to Panama that will include the UW-Superior Symphonic and Jazz Bands in May. This eclectic collection of music spans the styles of music of Latin America, American Dixieland, and folk music of Arabia, Serbia, and Italy.
