The YMCA Resolution Run

The YMCA Resolution Run - New Year's Day 2016 - 5K Run/2-mile walk

100% of proceeds go towards youth and family programming at the Y. Last year, this race raised $1,200! Because of this, the Superior Douglas County Family YMCA has new bench seating in both pools, four dozen float belts for swim lessons, two dozen kick boards, four dozen pool noodles, dozens of fun pool toys, and a shallow end basketball hoop. This year, proceeds will be used to improve our multimedia capabilities for classes, events, rentals and other fun family-friendly activities!

Awards given to first through third place finishers in the 5K and first place finishers in the 2-mile walk. All registered receive a t-shirt and are entered into post-race drawings! The event starts and ends right at the Y.

Register by December 18 to be guaranteed a t-shirt with race bag. Registration is $25 through December 18, $35 December 19-January 1. Register at the Y or click here to register online. Day-of registration is available 9-9:30 a.m. Professional timing is provided by Duluth Running Company.
