Drs. Deborah Schlacks and Joel Sipress discuss the enduring popularity of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby on the 100th anniversary of its publication and will speak to its status as a foundational American literary work that continues to resonate with readers a century after its publication. Dr. Schlacks is Professor Emeritus of English at the University of Wisconsin-Superior and a renowned Fitzgerald scholar. Dr. Sipress is a Professor of History at UW-Superior.
