    The Great Folle Avoine Fur Trade Rendezvous at Forts Folle Avoine

    July 23, 24, and 25, 2010

    Friday and Saturday 10 am to 4 pm

    Sunday 10 am to 3 pm

    Over 150 fur trade camps fill Sayer's Field and Trader's Row during Rendezvous representing the many unique characters who gathered after a winter of trapping to trade goods, tell stories and enjoy a good time.

    Witness various demonstrations of period skills-- including black powder, archery and tomahawk competitions. See food prepared in the fur-trade era manner.

    Visit with the participants to learn the history of this important era of commerce and exploration in Wisconsin and throughout North America.
