Start your holiday shopping early again this year with the second annual Superior Holiday Art Fair taking place on Saturday, November 7, 2009, from 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Stop by the cafeteria of the Superior Middle School at 3626 Hammond Ave., in Superior, to shop the works of 24 local and regional artists working in clay, jewelry, fiber, photography, paintings/prints, wood, and glass. All the work is handmade by the participating artist, and a broad range of styles and prices will be available for sale.
Again this year will be the raffle of artworks donated by the participating artists. Last year, the artists generously donated high quality pieces that generated great enthusiasm and success for all who attended the art fair. Proceeds from this year’s raffle will continue to benefit the Superior Middle School.
This budding community event is presented by the SMS and the PTSA, and will offer something for everyone!
Check out the Superior Holiday Art Fair on facebook, too. There you can see the works of the participating artists, and start working on your shopping list for the holidays, and maybe even find a piece or two for yourself.
Admission to the art fair is free, and there is plenty of free parking.
