The Douglas County Farmers' Market Association manages the Barker's Island and Superior Downtown Farmers' Markets, providing an opportunity for local growers/producers to sell their products directly to the consumer. Everything at the markets has been grown or made by the farmers or artisans in the Douglas County, WI, area. Customers enjoy meeting the farmers and knowing where and how their food is grown.
