Superior Citizens In Action offers our free, annual community building event that supports and encourages civic engagement, advocacy and citizenship in Northwest Wisconsin. Please join us at the University of Wisconsin-Superior on Thursday, December 6, as we discuss 'Everyday Activism'. Community activists will teach us: how to work for the change that you feel our community needs; how to put faith into action; how to advocate effectively with elected officials. A light dinner, and a 'meet and greet' with your elected officials will help you to hone your skills as community activists. Registration is at UWS, Swenson Hall, at 4:00 p.m. The event runs from 4:30--7:30 p.m. We are excited to see you there!
