    Event Description:
    Join Friends of the Bird Sanctuary and the North Country Trail Association for a 2 mile through the wild and scenic barrens landscape. This is a great way to celebrate the long days and nights of summer in the northland. Bring a water bottle and favorite field guide book.
    Location:
    Meet at the North Country Trail kiosk located in the Douglas County Wildlife area ( aka Bird Sanctuary) south of Solon Springs. Turn west at the Hwy 53 and Cty. M intersection. Travel ~ 1/4 mile to Bird Road. Turn south ~ 1/4 mile to the Kiosk and trail head.
