Spring Fling Quilt Show

"Spring Fling" is an annual quilt show put on by 6 quilt shops in the Duluth-Superior area.

This year's featured quilter is pattern designer Marilyn Foreman of Quilt Moments. Marilyn lives in a suburb of St. Paul, Minnesota with her husband and three kids. She chose the name Quilt Moments for the pattern company since she tends to work on her designs at night when the kids are sleeping or during stolen moments during the day between activities. She likes to use a variety of different fabrics in her quilts and many of her designs often incorporate a large feature print with easy four-patch kaleidoscope blocks.

Quilters will create a quilt using one of four of Marilyn's patterns this year.

Quilts will be on display and the public may vote for their favorite.

Multiple vendors will be on hand at the show with demo's and door prizes every hour.

Friday hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm and Saturday hours are 9:00am to 4:00pm.
