Old Brule Heritage Society annual Scandinavian Dinner and Tour

Enjoy Midsummer with a Scandinavian dinner and a tour of the Davidson Windmill and Eskolin log house. The Old Brule Heritage Society (OBHS) is sponsoring its annual Scandinavian Dinner on Saturday, June 21 at the Lakeside Town Hall, WI Hy. 13 and Poplar River Road fom 11am to 2pm. Tours of the windmill and log house will be available on Friday, June 20 from 3pm to 5pm and Saturday, June 21 from 10am to 3pm.

The menue for the dinner includes Finnish stew, Swedish rice pudding, Norwegian fruit soup, homeade breads and bars and beverages.

Cost of the meal is $8 for adults, $5 for children 6-12yrs, and free for children 5yrs and under. The tours of the windmill and log house are a free-will donation.

The windmill and log house are located on WI Hy. 13 approximately 4 miles from the junction of US hys. 2/53 & 13. The Lakeside Town Hall is located approximately 8.8 miles from that junction. Signs will be posted. For more information call 715-398-5493 or log onto www.oldbrule.org
