Music in the Park ~ Dave Bennett's Septet

Enjoy great music and relax outdoors in the family friendly environment of the 2009 concert series with Lucius Woods Performing Arts Center in sunny Solon Springs, Wisconsin.

Dave Bennett exhibits a rare and thrilling musical gift.
This twenty-five year old has been called a "prodigy." His band will be performing a tribute to Benny Goodman. Several members of Goodman's original band members have endorsed Bennett's talent on the clarinet as "the closest ever" to the Goodman," King of Swing," sound and style.
The all-star septet includes; Carol McCartney providing the vocals, Paul Keller playing bass, Peter Siers on drums, Hugh Leal on acoustic guitar, Bill Meyer playing keyboard and percussionist Matt Hoffman on the vibraphone. The program will include "Swing Jazz," "Body & Soul," "I've Got Rhythm," "Poor Butterfly," "Swing, Swing, Swing," "Stompin' in the Savoy" and many other favorites.

Season Flex Tickets are priced at $100.00, and come nine (9) to a set. They are called "flex" tickets because they can be used in multiples or singly at any concert. Each set of Season Flex Tickets also includes one invitation to the Opening Night Champagne Reception June 27. Season tickets are available through July 8

Criteria to qualify for student ticket pricing:
* Youth ages 13-18 years of age
* College student of any age with a valid school student ID

Children 12 years and under are admission free. Children are encouraged to enjoy the Music in the Park experience, however; play should not include chase games with screaming or raised voices as it is disruptive to the performers and other members of the audience.

A $1.00 shipping and handling fee will be charged per shipment of tickets to be mailed.
