Mondays, February 25 - May 6 (No Class March 18). This seminar is the second level of Japanese and is for people who have finished the introductory workshop or who want to refresh previously learned material. Students will learn basic grammatical patterns and apply the knowledge in various conversational situations, both speaking & listening. This course especially focuses on verb conjugations. Students will learn how to talk about their daily routine, past events, and their future plans. They will make travel plans in both the United States and Japan. In addition, students will learn how to invite friends to do favorite activities and decide where and when to meet. It is a perfect class for those welcoming Japanese guests or planning a trip to Japan. Finally, katakana and many aspects of Japanese culture will be introduced.
