After a brief summer hiatus, History Talks at the museums are back for the fall season! Join Superior Historic Properties for the first installment of the fall series aboard the SS Meteor for an evening of history and remembrance honoring the SS Edmund Fitzgerald. Visitors will get an up-close look at all of the museum’s Edmund Fitzgerald artifacts while learning about that fateful November day. Visitors will get a chance to hear from the community group “Friends of the Fitz” to learn about their efforts to create a historical marker honoring those we lost fifty years ago. Refreshments will be provided, and SS Edmund Fitzgerald merchandise will be for sale. Tickets may be purchased online at www.superiorhistoricproperties.org. Cost is $10/per person.
