Family Fun Day- Brule River State Forest

Plan on joining us for our annual "Family Fun Day" a day filled with activities taking place at the Brule River State Fish Hatchery and the Bois Brule Campground Canoe Landing.

Activities at the Hatchery include:

*Fly tying and casting
*Gyotaku (fish printing) Bring a T-shirt to paint or we'll have some available $5 each
*Catch & release fishing
*Fish Filleting Demonstration
*Hatchery tours
*Archery
*Fire Suppression equipment may be available for viewing
*Turkey calling demonstrations
*Raffle prizes
*Gift bags for children (children eligible for raffle prizes too)

At the Canoe Landing:

* Fishery professioinals will demonstrate their fish shocking techniques and discuss the fish and invertebrates captured during the demonstration.

* Begining at 11:00 canoe the Brule from the Bois Brule landing to Hwy. 2 (canoes and shuttle provided).  Sign up at registration stand at the hatchery (spaces limited)
