Built in 1890 as the family residence of lumber and mining baron Martin Pattison and his wife Grace, Superior's iconic Fairlawn Mansion has been the home to many different organizations and events.
Allow Fairlawn to transport you back in time to an era of boas, white gloves, jewelry and glamorous hats for Fairlawn Tea Party on Saturday, June 11, 2016, from 2 to 4 p.m.
This event allows children grades 3 through 5 to experience a tea party inside the historical mansion. Victorian parlor games and take-home crafts will lead to a pink lemonade and cookie 'tea' on Fairlawn's collection of vintage cups and teapots. This event will include Victorian dress-up, parlor games, crafts, tea and etiquette, and will conclude with a fashion show.
Cost for this event is $20 per child. Space is limited and registration is now open. For questions, please call Barb Fuhrman at 715-394-8173. Don't miss out on this unique and fun opportunity.
