Escape the Bong V (Five)
Set for February 10 to 12
The Richard I. Bong Veterans Historical Center is hosting, Escape the Bong V (five), from February 10 to 12. For the Fifth year in a row this event is presented by Heritage Window & Door.
Escape the Bong 5 is a three-day event featuring multiple escape rooms that will test your deduction and puzzle solving skills. Each room is designed for an hour of problem- solving fun along with a unique mission and experience. Tickets are available now at Bong Center and online at www.bongcenter.org
A new game will begin at the top of each hour. A maximum of ten people per game but smaller groups may be combined to fill out a group of 10.
Thursday is a Media sneak peek and Sponsor Day. Friday through Sunday are open for reservations and walk ins! Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for those 15 years and under per game when you reserve before February 3rd. After the 3rd they are $28 for adults and $18 for those 15 years and younger.
The event will run from 10 am to 9 pm, with the final set of games beginning at 8 pm, on Friday and Saturday. With the extended weekend hours, our 21 years and older guests can purchase a cold beer or glass of wine provided by Keyport Liquor beginning at 5 pm Friday and Noon Saturday and Sunday to go along with their escape room experience.
These rooms will be featured at the event:- Bong Center Exclusive, The Hornets’ Nest: A U.S. Navy submarine has been stolen by the Russian Navy. The year is 1974, you and your Navy Seal team are assigned to recover the Top-Secret sub. after getting into the Russian base (The Hornet's Nest) you have one hour to get the submarine running and escape the port to open waters. Good Luck!
- Bong Center Exclusive Escape and Evade: Your crew has been shot down in the jungles of the South Pacific. You must evade the Japanese by using the help of the locals to find your way to the rescue, and to freedom.
- Survive Your Parents Prom: Can a photo booth really be a time machine? Landing at your parent's prom can be a real dilemma. Use our props to dress like your parents did and find your way “Back to the Future” in this 1980’s style puzzle!
- Save the Campout: The campout needs you to ensure a successful night in the woods! Save the campout by completing the tasks correctly or suffer an uncomfortable night in the forest. This room can be configured for younger players with no need for an adult to help solve the puzzle.
All funds raised from this three-day event will go to the education programs at the Center.
