    Meet the author Tom Alesia and hear his story of what led him to write "Beauty at Short".  This is also the last day for the Dave Bancroft Exhibit at DCHS. (The event will also be available on Zoom)

    Dave Bancroft lived on Tower Avenue with his wife Edna for 60 years.  He was Duluth/Superior to the core, and the Twin Ports responded with so much love --\ especially an enormous parade to celebrate his World Series title in 1921.  Now, this new book -- No. 1 on Amazon's baseball history bestsellers! -- is out with a rave review from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Duluth/Superior, you have a baseball icon in your past!
