Blue Christmas: Worship for Weary, Grieving, and Struggling People.
The Christmas season can be a stressful time for many people. Grief, family tension and depression can make this joyful holiday a struggle for those who are working hard to hide their tears. Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 1924 Wyoming Ave. Superior is hosting a ''Blue Christmas'' service on December 21 at 6:30 pm. The public is invited to gather on the longest night of the year for a time of prayer, the lighting of candles, and special music. The service is designed to let people know they are not alone in their pain. There is room at the manger for everyone and every emotion.
