Barker's Island Farmers' Market is an open air market held every Saturday morning, rain or shine, from mid-June through mid-October.
The market features fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables from the Douglas county area.
In addition to local produce, the market offers pure maple syrup, honey, herbs, plants, jam and other condiments, baked goods, and garden crafts.

**Saturday August 22nd Lake Superior Dragon Boat Festival will be held at Barker's Island, Barker's Island Farmers' Market will be held at alternate location- tenatively parking lot of Superior Public Library/Center City Park on Tower Ave. & Belknap St.
