    Event Description:
    ART WORKS!, a first-ever conference designed to activate a creative economy in the Twin Ports, invites local artists, arts-related organizations, and venues (galleries, etc) to exhibit their offerings on March 14, 2008, from 7:30 am to 6 pm at Lake Superior College, 2101 Haines Road, in Duluth.

    Exhibitor tables (6') are available for $50 each, and include draping and two chairs. The exhibitor fee also includes registration for the ART WORKS! conference. A limited number of tables will have electrical connections available; and box lunches will be provided for each exhibitor. PLEASE NOTE: the ART WORKS! Showcase Exhibits are intended for display and information-sharing purposes, but not retail sales.

    The ART WORKS! conference will bring artists, business people and community people together to explore how engaging in collaborative efforts can bring economic growth to our region. The day-long conference will include guest speakers, panel discussions, and the opportunity to develop and implement initiatives for further action.
