Name: Afterhours Snow Shoe Trail Grand OpeningDate: January 3, 2010Time: 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM CSTEvent Description:In addition to the wonderful "Skate" and "Classic" cross country ski trails that make up the Brule River State Forest Afterhours Trail System, there are now two loops available for snowshoeing.
The Fox Loop (.8 mile) and The Coyote Loop (2.2 miles) lead you on a trek through the peaceful woods of the Brule River State Forest.
A limited number of snowshoes will be available free of charge (compliments of Ski Hut in Duluth) for use during the Grand Opening for those who without snowshoes.After snowshoeing, you are invited to come warm up by the bonfire and enjoy hot cocoa & cookies.
Trail fees waived for people snowshoeing during the Grand Opening.
