2008 Residential Holiday Decorating and Lighting Contest

Brighten up the countryside and help out a good cause at the same time!

The Chamber Ambassadors invite you to participate in the 2008 Douglas County Residential Holiday Decorating and Lighting Contest!

FREE TO ENTER!

The Ambassadors will donate $5 for each entry to the Solid Rock Safe Haven in Superior which provides homeless shelter for adult men that assists them in becoming self sufficient through finding suitable employment and a permanent residence.  The shelter provides 3 meals per day, bed, laundry, phone and clothing for residents.

Entry deadline: December 3, 2008.   Click here to enter. 

Judging: December 7 through December 9 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

NEW THIS YEAR:
Douglas County residents who live outside of the City of Superior and Village of Superior are invited to participate in the NEW Country Choice category. 

Prizes will be awarded to the winners in each of the following categories:

Country Choice
Ambassadors Choice
Best Use of Lights
Spirit Award (Lots of holiday sprirt--not necessarily tons of lights and decorations)
Master's Division
