100 & Going Strong Exhibits

• The Douglas County Historical Society located at 1101 John Ave. will be featuring Model T, labor and 100 year family exhibits from Sept. 25th – 27th from 10 a.m. till 2 p.m. The Douglas County Historical Society can trace its roots back to 1854. It was called the Superior Historical Society and its president was Colonel R. P. Carlton, the oldest resident of the area. In 1902, the historical society still had no collection and was holding meetings every four years.
