Join us outdoors, weekly on Wednesdays in the summer from 10:00 am -12:00 pm for River Rovers. A FREE nature playgroup for children ages 3-7 with a different theme each week. You can expect caring educators, story time, snacks, outdoor activities, and more. Children MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian/trusted adult for the duration of their involvement in the programming. River Rovers is part of the education program at the Lake Superior National Estuarine Research Reserve in Superior, Wisconsin. The Lake Superior Reserve is one of 30 Reserves in the United States. The research and outreach program is operated by the University of Wisconsin-Madison Division of Extension with leadership from NOAA and is based on the UW-Superior campus.
