Finding a reliable and engaged workforce is a common struggle for employers no matter the industry. It can be daunting and exhausting to be constantly filling staffing gaps within your organization. The Superior-Douglas County Area Chamber of Commerce recognized the need to connect our member organizations to resources that can help ease the process in order to get your business fully staffed and operating at full capacity.
In this Chamber Education Series – Chamber Open Forum: Workforce Resources we will bring in a panel of four local organizations who can help. We hope to connect you to local organizations that curate local job boards, provide internship opportunities, and develop programs for students to fill vacancies in our local job market.
Please join us on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, from Noon – 1 pm to hear from our panelists:
- Shawna Anderson, Special Education Transition Coach at the School District of Superior
- Katelyn Bauman, Coordinator of Academic Service Learning at the Link Center, University of Wisconsin-Superior
- Dan Miller, Associate Dean for Workforce and Community Development at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College
- Cara Overland, Strategy and Development Consultant for the Twin Ports and Wisconsin at Northforce/Northspan
A question and answer session will be available at the end.
